Involves: WordPress, PHP, HTML 5, CSS, jQuery
A website designed and developed for the non-profit organization Rescue For Life.
The site is built with WordPress. It is tailored with Custom Post Types and Taxonomies for easy use. The site also features customized user levels. Inputted animals can be viewed and adopted at the website.

Involves: XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL
A personal website, designed and developed as a Photo Sharing site. A user can sign up, and upload photos to the website to share with others. Registered users can also comment on other member's photos. The site uses PHP and MySQL to handle user registration and image uploading/rendering.

A user template designed for GeniePad. GeniePad is a Condo Website & Communication Portal. The website is designed to the 1140 CSS Grid and adapts fluidly to the width of the browser, including mobile devices.

A personal website featuring a fictional company called TeaHut. I designed the layout designed with a warm colour palette in order to give the website a warm and inviting feel. The site has a simple jQuery slider to display the Featured Teas.

A Flash game created as a personal project. All graphics were hand drawn by me, and the game is custom coded in ActionScript 3. The game was designed to be a very simple point and click, as a first time project.

Who am I?
Hello! My name is Kassandra Poon and I'm a Freelance Web Designer.
I love bringing clean and functional websites to life.
I have a diploma from the Digital Media and Information Technology program, specializing in web, from NAIT, Edmonton, AB. I design & develop websites to be both user-friendly and aethestically pleasing while usually enjoying a hot cup of coffee. I'm not afraid to dive into code and I have a good eye for design as well.
